Upgrading from R11i to R12 & R12.1 to R12.2.X
Upgrading from R11i to R12 is a challenging work. But it can be done and we have done couple of times. We can make an inventory of your existing customization’s, understand what EBS R12 deliver out of box and how we can uplift the rest.
Apart from that, preparing an online patching enables environment requires some applied best practices and experience that can save you 100Ks EUR’s and months of effort. We enable a quick start option with a pre-planned, tested, applied approach.
We also run a CEMLI analyse for you to verify the customization. In the analyze, we provide a detailed report about;
- Lift & Shift Objects : Best solutions are the ones already working. If we see good fit, we analyze/rectify/lift them to upper version
- Phase Out: Did you know Oracle R12 is bringing so much enhanced features where we had to have customization and extension in lower versions. With the extensive functional skill set we have about EBS R12, we suggest some best practices to replace your customization and extensions.
- Upgrade: For some functions you’re using, it may need a pure upgrade based on R12 standards, we make it is upgraded and working as it is.
Upgrading to Oracle Cloud
Now it is a whole different story. But possible. We pretty much apply the same approach like below.
- Lift & Shift Objects : Best solutions are the ones already working. If we see good fit, we analyze/rectify/lift them to upper version
- Phase Out: Did you know Oracle Cloud Applications is bringing so much enhanced features where we had to have customization and extension in lower versions. With the extensive functional skill set we have about Oracle Cloud Applications, we suggest some best practices to replace your customization and extensions.
- Upgrade: For some functions you’re using, it may need a pure upgrade based on Fusion standards, we make it is upgraded and working as it is.
